Cabo San Lucas, Mexico Travel Diary

Mexico has a special place in my heart. Growing up my family made it a tradition to vacation in Mexico once a year during the holiday season. We traveled to a few different places in Mexico, but mainly our fav spot was Cabo. After us kids grew up the tradition stopped, so this was my first time back to Cabo in many years. I flew down with my boyfriend (this was his first flight in over 25 years so he was a little nervous to say the least) and we met up with my mom and her boyfriend. We stayed at Pueblo Bonito Sunset, which is also our fav spot in Cabo and of course had to do all inclusive.

Pueblo Bonito has three sister properties in Cabo..Sunset, Rose, and Blanco. They are all gorgeous, which you will see below in the pictures. I think Sunset is the biggest property and it is located in these steep hills so you have to call a golf cart to come pick you up and take you around to all the restaurants and pools. You can walk, but let me tell you..walking is killer on your legs, plus the golf carts are fun. It is also located on a beach where the waves are massive and the current will pull you out to the ocean so no swimming aloud! They have many pools to make up for it though. Although, I would have to say my favorite thing about this property is the food. Since this is the biggest property they have more options in restaurants from the yummy buffet to the best sushi I have ever had in my life. I think Alex’s favorite thing was the gelato at The Market.

They have a large bus that will take you to each property, which is only about a 10 minute difference. Blanco and Rose are located right next to each other in the downtown of Cabo San Lucas. We spent most of our time during the day at these properties soaking up the sun on the beach and drinking Pina Coladas. We really utilized this vacation for relaxing and spending quality time together. I didn’t wear makeup once and had a nice little detox from the internet and my phone. It was a vacation I didn’t know I needed until I got there and realized how stressed out I was before hand. This made the $20 70 minute massage on the beach even more enjoyable. Like I said, we didn’t do much other than relax, eat, shop, and catch up on our sleep, but I hope you enjoy these pictures from my trip as much as I do.
